Elizabeth Levin was born in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. Levin is a visual artist, whose work is largely based around the photographic medium. She manipulates family albums into paintings, restaged photographs, and video art. Levin’s art focuses on women’s stories and deals with themes of loss, memory, and nostalgia. In 2011, she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Parsons the New School for Design in New York City. She has exhibited in The Cooper Square hotel in New York City, Parsons’ Arnold and Sheila Aronson Gallery, at Art Share LA, as well as in Tel Aviv, Israel. She recently finished her Master’s of Fine Arts degree at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her thesis video work, Public Storage, was shown in the Jerusalem Film Festival in August 2021. Levin currently lives and works in Tel Aviv.
